Add topicDovuititoko
[edit source]I'm corrected and will moved the article title Dovuititoko to Dovu, I'm sure the word Dovuititoko it basically doesn't exist at all, and no Fijian people, any Fijian documents and texts has been used it, the word Dovuititoko it the result of erronuous translation by me when I try to translate sugarcane into Fijian, cane translate to Fijian is ititoko, combined with dovu. Intially I think this is applicable word of sugarcane that can translate into to Fijian, however, 4 year later I reworked the article, I was track back to using Google Search and use Google Translate (Fijian language is now available in Google Translate), I find out there haven't any Fijian websites, contexts, documents has been used the word, and Dovu is the correct word of sugarcane Fijian trnaslation (I knew it, but at this time I was thought the erronuous result were to make the applicable word of sugarcane Fijian trnaslation, and thought dovu was the wrong translation).
After my finding efforts of the word Dovuitioko, end up I was realized the word Dovuititoko were didn't exist at all, it was a mistake of my translation thoughts, now I make the articles to move and correct to right titles to make things right.
However, some articles I can't moved because the technical problems of redirect pages, if already moved the article to another article page, the generated redirect page would be sticked as the page, when I tried move the article to the page which the article contents already moved elsewhere and the page turned into redirect page, it cannot to moved. The only way to "move" the article content into to the redirect page is copy and paste, but I think do this way that will leave some unncessary remains in the page, so I requested to you deleted those page to make way I can move those article correctly.
Cane translate into to Fijian will be ititoko, ititoko in Fijian meaning walking stick, I mistaken ititoko meaning as sugarcane, and dovu as sugar, actually the word ititoko aren't any relation with sugar and sugarcane and never was, and sugar translate to Fijian should be suka. Correct translations of some words of Fijian
[edit source]Hi, @SHB2000 I cannot find some correct word translations, whenever I try to use dictionary or translation site, it shows wrong translates.
For example: insect to manumanu lalai
reptile to manumanu vuka
mollusc sometimes to manumanu vuka
virus to manumanu somidi or manumanu lalai
parasite to manumanu somidi
bacteria in some translations to manumanu somidi
lizard in some translations to manumanu vuka
abstraction to vakasama
So can you indicating those words to correct Fijian translation words? Maybe I will created some new articles or improve articles. Weather Top Wizard (talk) 11:56, 31 Me 2025 (UTC)
